Liza Sacilioc

PR Specialist & Writer

Active Listener. Storyteller. Idea Generator.

liza_sacilioc-headshotLiza discovered her knack and love for writing and storytelling as a young adult. Seeking to make a career out of her passion, she pursued a degree in journalism, weaving in and out of newspaper and magazine opportunities to finally find a place at a small boutique PR agency servicing dot-com companies.

For nearly 20 years, she has worked in the areas of consumer products, services and technology; retail, nonprofits, and arts and entertainment. One of her specialties is being an expert “active listener” – a trait that’s enabled her to generate ideas and write stories that wholly embrace the essence of a company, brand or organization’s message.

As a ghostwriter for thought leaders, Liza has been successful at writing articles that capture each leader’s unique voice and tone.  She thrives on challenging herself to fully understand and then convey the leader’s thought process, personality and expertise.

Liza has a soft spot for community-focused nonprofit organizations. Since 2000, she has worked as a PR volunteer, PR chairperson and co-chair for MEND (Meet Each Need with Dignity), the San Fernando Valley’s largest anti-poverty nonprofit agency.

Liza earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Long Beach State University.
